Every concertgoer loves a good stage dive…  The higher, the better is what what we all say, right?  Wrong.  Rapper George Watsky was performing at Alexandra Palace for the Vans Warped Tour when he decided to climb the on the lighting rig and jump 30 feet into the crowd.  Much to Watsky’s dismay, the crowd decided to avoid the rapper and let him hit the ground as opposed to catch him.

This was all well and good, except one fan couldn’t get out of the way in time and broke her arm.  In retrospect, Watsky said:

It was stupid and wildly irresponsible, plain and simple.  I have no excuse for my actions, and the only way I can explain my mindset is that it was a huge overreach in the heat of the moment.  I feel f***ing terrible. I made a boneheaded decision that got people hurt, and it’s extremely lucky it wasn’t worse.  Putting your own body on the line is one thing, but putting other people in harm’s way is inexcusable.
